Todd and Duncan Cashmere

Nestled on the shores of Loch Leven, Todd and Duncan is the one of the oldest cashmere mills in the world with over 150 years of expertise. They've developed their technology to create a cashmere that pills less than any other. The water from Todd and Duncan's mill is so clean it shares Loch Leven with an RSPB Nature Reserve which hosts 20 000 pink footed geese from Iceland, ospreys and white tailed eagles.

They work in partnership with de-hairers in Mongolia to support the three pillars of the cashmere industry's ethical sourcing initiatives: animal welfare, sustainability and traceability. Herders are encouraged to use sustainable herding and grazing practices, high standards of animal welfare and continue their traditional nomadic way of life, with only 200 - 300 goats in each herd.
