'Everyone has asked me if it was cold when I visited the Arctic Circle. My answer is no but when I look at the photos I realise that I was always wearing your cashmere. The cable knit beanie hat was so light and warm that it was on my head constantly. It is such a brilliant red, what a perfect complimentary colour to those moody grey skies, the calving glaciers and the sea ice.'
