zig zag pizzazz pattern
zig zag pizzazz pattern
This is a deceptively simple scarf to knit. Made up entirely of garter stitch, stocking stitch columns and twisted stitches, you'll create a 3D fabric that catches the light and shadows beautifully. The magic happens when you block it: instead of pinning it out, you'll create origami folds along the stocking stitch lines and leave to dry. The fabric will hold the shape that it naturally wants to.
It uses 250g of a 4 ply / sock weight yarn, and the needle size I used was 3.5mm. I found this a fairly quick knit, I think suitable for beginners / intermediate.
Finished measurements: length 168cm / 66in, width 26.5cm / 10.5in.
You'll receive a pdf of the pattern, and you can link it to your Ravelry library when you check out too (don't forget to have your Ravelry login ready).
