A simple square design, with a border and an optional little eyelet square, is worked through all the colours of the colour theory triaxial blend, and then the colours are reversed to work the complement.
This pattern uses heavy lace weight yarn with 750m to 100g.

Substitute Yarns: there is guidance in the pattern (yarn map for how to organise your colours), you'll need heavy laceweight yarn of approx 750m per 100g in 45 colours. Time to use up those mini skeins?
3mm knitting needles and a 100cm 3mm circular needle
Finished measurements: width 75cm / 29.5in., length 80cm / 31.5in.
Techniques used: cast on, picking up stitches, garter stitch, decreases (SSK, K2Tog) and cast off.
